- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup canned diced tomatoes
- 3 cups vegetable or chicken broth, warmed
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Sauté Onion and Garlic: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Add Tomatoes and Rice: Stir in the diced tomatoes and Arborio rice. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring to coat the rice with the tomato mixture.
- Add Broth Gradually: Pour in 1 ladle of warm broth and stir until absorbed. Continue adding broth, 1 ladle at a time, stirring frequently, until the rice is creamy and cooked through about 20 minutes.
- Finish with Cheese and Basil: Stir in Parmesan cheese and fresh basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve: Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
